MAKING AUTOMOTIVE

AND MEDICAL PARTS

UNDER ONE ROOF

The team at Magna’s body and chassis plant in Williamsburg, Iowa, stamps aluminum and high-strength steel into automotive parts such as bumpers and engine cradles.

Looking for a way to help address COVID-19 relief efforts, the division now has added business to stamp and assemble ventilator carts for a leading health technology company.

A separate manufacturing area has been fenced-off, and the division is making the carts at the same time they’re supporting the restart of automotive production in North America.

The team went from potential idea to full production in only nine weeks. And with plans to make 20,000 carts per month and approximately 100,000 by the end of the year, Williamsburg employees exemplify the Magna in Action spirit.
