A message from sustainability champion Grahame Burrow

From solar panels and pollinator gardens, to energy conservation and supplier diversity programs, to car-of-the- future components and reforestation, Magna is committed to sustainability.

In my role as corporate sustainability champion, I am excited to support everyone’s efforts on our journey to a more sustainable future.

We know that our future will be greatly impacted by how sustainably we all live and work every day. This year, we announced our ambitions to achieve carbon neutrality across our global operations by 2030.

In support of our priorities, we announced the Magna Commitment to Sustainability Awards program. This program is open to all divisions and facilities around the world, and will recognize successful projects and activities that benefit the environment and our communities.

Award submissions can be made in three categories: Product, Process and People. Submission forms for the Commitment to Sustainability Awards will open September 1, 2021 and are due no later than December 31, 2021. Winners will be announced on Earth Day 2022.

I look forward to celebrating the wonderful teamwork and creative solutions that make a difference for our company, our customers, our industry and our planet.
